TEACHERS

More teachers have left Glendora Unified since the hiring of Superintendent DeLeon than at any other point in GUSD history.

63%

of teachers do not believe that the district Administration supports or understands their frustrations nor attempt to address concerns. (Survey conducted by Glendora Teachers Association in early 2020)

Top Concerns of Teachers in a Recent Glendora Teachers Association Survey.

1. Lack of Communication

2. Lack of Transparency from the Top Down

3. Lack of Trust in Leadership

Our teachers (and staff) are at a place of hopelessness, despair, and grief over the state of our schools as a result of district leadership. In late 2021, we approached the Board of Education with this information and proposed a fresh internal staff morale survey.
