63%
of teachers do not believe that the district Administration supports or understands their frustrations nor attempt to address concerns. (Survey conducted by Glendora Teachers Association in early 2020)
"I JUST DON'T HAVE THE DESIRE TO TEACH ANYMORE. I'M EXHAUSTED. THIS IS NOT THE GLENDORA THAT WE KNOW AND LOVE."

1. Lack of Communication
2. Lack of Transparency from the Top Down
3. Lack of Trust in Leadership

Our teachers (and staff) are at a place of hopelessness, despair, and grief over the state of our schools as a result of district leadership. (Superintendent DeLeon, Board of Education, and Dr. Virginia Kelsen) Their last source of hope is the people of Glendora rising up to reclaim our schools and to ensure we have leadership that represents the people and empower our teachers and staff.
In late 2021, we approached the Board of Education with this information and proposed a fresh internal staff morale survey.
